GAJA DAGROMIS BAROLO 2021

The 2021 Dagromis Barolo from Gaja — one of Piedmont's most celebrated estates — blends Nebbiolo fruit from two distinct Barolo terroirs: the fuller-bodied clay soils of Serralunga d'Alba and the more perfumed limestone-rich slopes of La Morra, all farmed sustainably. Aged 12 months in oak by vineyard, then blended and aged another 18 months, the wine opens with ripe plum and wild berry aromas layered with rose, sweet licorice, and balsamic hints. Soft, juicy tannins carry a round, full-bodied palate through to a lingering violet-tinged finish.
